"Breaking Dawn" has finally come! It felt like it would never arrive, but it did, and now I must take full advantage and devour as many pages as I can before I leave to Girls Camp tomorrow. I was supposed to get the newest Stephanie Meyer book Saturday morning, but things didn't go as planned, so I ended up getting it this afternoon. I am very eager to start reading it!
I became a Stephanie Meyer fan earlier this year when I heard about the mysterious vampire stories from various women in my bookclub. The older ladies were hesitant to read it (most of them don't like "horror" stories), but I became curious, so I borrowed "Twilight" from the library, not sure what to expect, and instantly became hooked! I was thrilled when I heard that a "Twilight" movie will be released later this year. I can't wait until December 12th!

I'm in love already... I'm about 1 chapter away from "book 3" in the book, and can't wait to finish it so I can talk about it with people, lol!
Yay! It's totally awesome. I loved it so much, I've already re-read it!
I haven't read these books yet--they just have not appealed to me. But everyone seems to be in love with them. How do they rate, say compared to Jane Austen's novels; and also compared to Harry Potter? If I pick one up will I never be able to put it down again?
I personally like Harry Potter better, but "Twilight" is still high on my list. I like the "Twilight" series more than I like "Eragon" and "Eldest," if that helps any. The characters in "Twilight" really bring the story to life and you really end up identifying with the main character, Bella. The books are well written as well. They become addicting and very hard to put down once you get to certain spots.
